Prior to the acquisition he served as a minority partner in the business.
“It is a pleasure being a business owner in Sheboygan County,” stated Casper at the announcement of the acquisition. “Having spent my formative years here and now raising a family, it is a pleasure being a part of something that provides great benefit to individuals and families to enhance their quality of life.”
Casper presently serves as president of the Sheboygan County Estate Planning Council, which includes financial planners, estate planning attorneys, and accountants.
The Financial Group, Inc. provides services to clients that are inclusive in terms of offered solutions (i.e., comprehensive financial plan, mutual funds, ETFs, stocks, bonds, fee based advisory portfolios, variable annuities, fixed annuities, indexed annuities, life insurance, hybrid insurance, and long-term care insurance) and depth of research. Casper plans to add to staff in order to serve more clients, and produce more outreach by networking and providing financial seminars.
Financing for the acquisition was provided by Investors Community Bank of Sheboygan, as well as a loan through the City of Sheboygan Economic Development Loan Program. Business plan development was facilitated through the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) in collaboration with Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UW-Green Bay. “It is great to see another business up and running in Sheboygan’s downtown retail corridor,” noted SCEDC’s Business Development Manager Jim Schuessler. “The new housing coming on line on 8th Street and South Pier are helping contribute to the enthusiasm for additional development.”
