On-the-Job Training (OJT)
OJT provides reimbursements to employers to help compensate for the costs associated with training and loss of production for recently unemployed workers. Positions best suited for this type of training include warehousing, retail, and other entry-level positions.

Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA)
Certified workers who lose their jobs as a result of increased imports or shifts in production out of the United States may be eligible to receive one or more program benefits and services depending on what is needed to return them to employment. Services include reemployment assistance, job search and relocation allowances and training benefits.

Wisconsin Fast Forward Grant
Wisconsin Fast Forward provides financial and technical assistance to Wisconsin businesses through employer-led worker training grants in response to a demand for skilled workers borne out by labor market data. The program provides flexible, repeatable customized training solutions that help Wisconsin employers recruit, train or retain a qualified and productive workforce.

Bay-Area Workforce Development Board
Companies in a "mass-hiring" situation for full-time employees can ask that a cohort of candidates be trained in hard skills (ie welding, high speed manufacturing techniques, etc...) to allow a company to absorb large amounts of new employees in a relatively short period of time.
