Nature Packaged Connects Customers To High-Quality Natural Products

SHEBOYGAN, WI — The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) and Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UW-Green Bay aim to provide a wide variety of services, resources, and expertise to help encourage entrepreneurial opportunities in Sheboygan County, including new and existing businesses that offer unique services and experiences to the community like Nature Packaged.

Nature Packaged, located in Sheboygan County, was founded to connect customers to the people that grow their favorite products, including essential oils, carrier oils, and other natural ingredients. The business works with farms located all over the world to source pure, high-quality natural products and make these small farms known to our customers.

“We were tired of that piece of the equation being a trade secret, so we started this company to make known the smaller farms and companies around the world that were doing the hard work,” said Lee Veldkamp, Co-Founder of Nature Packaged. “We wanted our customers to know that their purchase goes directly to those farmers making substantive differences to their local communities.”

Nature Packaged is leading the way in sourcing high-quality natural products and giving the credit where it’s due: to the farms that grow our favorite products— from Lavender Essential Oil to Argan Oil. The company works to help farms foster customers directly through its Marketplace.

“I love that we’re partnering with farms that care for their local environment, that we’re sourcing great products and ingredients from them, and that we’re not keeping these farms a hidden secret from the world,” said Lee Veldkamp. Nature Packaged’s mission helps to provide farm partners with the funds to positively impact their communities and support sustainable wages.

Nature Packaged participated in the Accelerate Sheboygan County Business Challenge and was selected for the 2022 Pitch Competition. “The SCEDC is so good at making connections to the right people.” said Lee Veldkamp. “I see Nature Packaged connecting 100,000 customers to 100 global farms by 2028. We’re aiming to have a wide variety of products available for small business owners and consumers.”
