LOCATION QUOTIENT (LQ)
The plastics industry has a LQ of 8.91 which is the second highest industry score in Sheboygan County. Another segment of plastics manufacturing is the emerging industry of composites. Sheboygan County’s experience in plastics manufacturing positions the County to become a national leader in the development and training for composites technologies and manufacturing. Resin, rubber, and artificial fibers manufacturing have a LQ of 7.83.
